Welcome to Peak Glamping Hideaway, this is our holiday accommodation venture in the Peak District National Park, giving families and couples great memories since April 2018. We love to welcome people to come on holiday to relax, unwind and explore the beautiful scenery and villages, and discover the walks of old pack horse trails that surround us.
Sat adjacent to the Glampsite you will find our self catering holiday cottage, furthermore you will find our Dairy farm – Tenterhill Farm and then our home – Lower Colshaw Farmhouse.
The dairy farm and holiday cottage were brought by George and Len Belfield in 1957 and then Lower Colshaw was brought some thirty years after this.
George and Len farmed along side each other well into the 1990’s, by which point George’s son John was also very involved in farming, later inheriting the farm when George and Len passed away.
Today the farm is still very much a family affair, John is still dairy farming with the help of his wife Pam, four daughters and his son who are all quite farming mad!
Recently the dairy industry has become quite a volatile market and the farm needed a diversification to survive in the family. This is what brings us to Peak Glamping Hideaway; We really hope you love this little piece of the world as much as we do…
Little update…We now have a new recruit Jack… who loves ‘helping’ with the changeovers whenever he can!
