Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions are are ‘binding’ legal document held between the guest and Peak Glamping Hideaway, when a booking is made all the guests staying must abide by these terms and conditions.  ‘You’ or ‘Your’ is a reference to you the hirer and ‘We’ or ‘Us’ is a reference to us the owners of Peak Glamping Hideaway.

Bookings

All bookings made via our online booking system are provisional until confirmed by Peak Glamping Hideaway.

The named person who makes the booking must be one of the guests who stays. He or she must be over 18 years of age. This person is responsible for making sure all other guest are aware of, and adhere to all the terms and conditions of the booking.

This person is authorised to agree to these terms and conditions on behalf of the whole party.

Peak Glamping Hideaway do not accept bookings from anyone under the age of 18 when unaccompanied by an adult.

Peak Glamping Hideaway reserve the right to terminate any holiday or request anyone to leave without refund for the breach of any of our conditions or guidelines ( of which Peak Glamping Hideaway is the final judge of.)

Peak Glamping Hideaway regret that in the event of a guest leaving early for any reason whatsoever no refund shall be given.

A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of the non refundable deposit and agreement to Peak Glamping Hideaways terms and conditions. No booking contract is entered into until a deposit has been received and Peak Glamping Hideaway have sent a written confirmation declaring your reservation. Please note Peak Glamping Hideaway do not hold dates provisionally.

Where a deposit has been paid, full balance payment will be due 2 weeks in advance of your check in date. Failure to do this will result in the deposit being forfeited and your booking cancelled.

When bookings are made within 6 weeks of the arrival date, Peak Glamping Hideaway ask for the full amount to be paid at the time of booking.

A £100 deposit proportion of the booking remains non refundable.

Payments can be made by bank transfer or we accept a full range of credit and debit cards over the phone. A 2% fee may be added to your account when credit card payments are made due to the charges placed on ourselves. Paying by cheque is also possible, please enquire.

Prices

The prices featured on the website are not binding and Peak Glamping Hideaway reserves the right to modify these prices at any time. At the time of booking you will accept a price. The price agreed either online or over the telephone and then stated on the confirmation email is binding. If a holiday has been booked under an obvious price administration error, Peak Glamping Hideaway are not obliged to honour the booking and can cancel and refund the stay. Any offers on prices are made at the discretion of Peak Glamping Hideaway.

Arrival and departure times

Guests have the right to occupy the Property for the paid for holiday period only (within the meaning of Schedule 1 Paragraph 9 of the Housing Act 1988).

Peak Glamping Hideaway ask for arrivals between 3pm and 7pm on the designated arrival day. Peak Glamping Hideaway ask that guests telephone and tell us their estimated time of arrival as Peak Glamping Hideaway don’t have a permanent reception. If for any reason guests can not make this time then Peak Glamping Hideaway request that you also let us know, so a member of the team can welcome you in. Peak Glamping Hideaway ask for guests to depart no later then 11am on their day of departure so we can clean the accommodation for the next guests arriving.

Visitors

If you wish for friends or family to visit our site during your stay Peak Glamping Hideaway require prior written agreement ahead of your stay. Any visitors that are found on site when Peak Glamping Hideaway have not be informed and agreed will be asked to leave immediately and Peak Glamping Hideaway reserves the right to cancel without refund your entire booking and ask you to leave the premises. Any visitors Peak Glamping Hideaway allow on site are not permitted to use the washroom and kitchen facilities for insurance purposes.

Website accuracy

Whilst every care is taken to ensure that the details in this website, including any promotional emails, are correct at time of being published,  Peak Glamping Hideaway cannot accept responsibility for errors contained therein or results thereof. Peak Glamping Hideaway are not responsible to you for unforeseen events or matters over which we have no control.

While Peak Glamping Hideaway do our best to ensure that all offer information is up to date and accurate, very occasionally some advertised short breaks in certain accommodation may not always be available on all the dates advertised. Please enquire when booking.

Privacy

Contact numbers and details are needed by the company for the booking, they are kept by the company, so that we can contact you with any changes and if we need to contact you whilst your are travelling to the glampsite. By accepting these terms and conditions you are allowing us to keep you details for future mailing, news and offers if however you do not wish for us to keep your details after your departure then please let us know and you can opt out. Please note no financial details are kept by us, and no details will be sold on to any third parties. Please make sure you give us your correct up-to-date contact information so the booking can be processed and we have a way of contacting you at all times prior to and during your stay if needed.

Cancellation policy

Please read this carefully before booking.

  • Bookings cancelled within 48 hours of arrival are completely non refundable
  • Deposits paid are non refundable and non transferable.
  • Non-payment of the balance by the due date will be construed as cancellation by you.
  • Peak Glamping Hideaway strongly recommend guests take out cancellation insurance to cover their holiday.

Cancellation by you.

Peak Gamping Hideaway understand plans change and emergencies occur. Please inform Peak Glamping Hideaway at the earliest possible stage if you need to cancel your holiday.

If for some reason you must cancel your holiday Peak Glamping Hideaway will try our very best to re-let your accommodation. You will be refunded the price that we re-let the holiday for minus a £40 admin fee. Therfore if Peak Glamping Hideaway have had to discount the break in order to fill the vacancy, the amount returned will be your balance less any discounts or costs associated, minus the £40 admin fee. All deposits remain non-refundable. If Peak Glamping Hideaway cannot re-let the holiday all monies paid are forfeited. Cancellation within 48 hours of the arrival date is completely non refundable.  Should you wish to change your booking after the deposit has been made this will be subject to a £20 administration fee. Changes made after the balance due date will subject to our cancellation policy. Peak Glamping Hideaway strongly urge guests to have travel insurance.

Cancellation by us.

In the very unlikely event that the accommodation you have booked becomes unavailable or unsuitable for your holiday for reasons beyond peak Glamping Hideaway control, such as bad weather, Ill heath, fire, flooding, administration or any other extenuating circumstances all rental monies paid in advance will be refunded in full and you will have no further claim against Peak Glamping Hideaway, or the owner of the property. Peak Glamping Hideaway cannot accept liability or responsibility for any loss, including consequential loss, caused by cancellation. Peak Glamping Hideaway will not pay compensation.

Complaints

Please let Peak Glamping Hideaway know of any complaints as soon as possible and Peak Glamping Hideaway will do our best to resolve the issue. No complaints will be entertained at the end of the hiring period or after the hirer as departed.

Force Majeure

Force majeure on the side of Peak Glamping Hideaway exists if the implementation of the agreement is entirely or partially, temporarily or permanently prevented due to circumstances which are beyond Peak Glamping Hideaway control including: threat of war, staff strikes, blockades, fire, flood, extreme weather and other disruptions or events.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions have been drafted in accordance with and are governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any and all disputes arising out of these Terms & Conditions.

Property

The hirer is responsible for the contents of their accommodation and there belongings throughout the duration of the holiday.

Peak Glamping Hideaway understand accidents happen and expect a reasonable amount of wear and tear. Should any facilities, equipment, structure to the accommodation, or inventory, be damaged wilfully, as a result of inappropriate usage or behaviour, or a as a direct result of failing to respond to instructions from Peak Glamping Hideaway staff you will be held responsible for the cost of repair or replacement of that item. Peak Glamping Hideaway reserves the right to charge the hirer extra if heavy duty cleaning is required after departure.

Security bond- Groups of 8 guests or more will be required to pay a security bond of £100 per accommodation. Peak Glamping Hideaway reserves the discretion to ask any customer for a security bond regardless of party size. This will be refunded in full at the end of your stay unless, in the opinion of Peak Glamping Hideaway, you have displayed unreasonable behaviour (this includes but is not limited to, wilful damage to the site or other people’s property and abuse of our staff, excessive noise should any members of staff/site managers be called out to such nuisances)

Peak Glamping Hideaway cannot accept responsibility from any loss, damage, or expense arising from industrial action, terrorist activity, adverse weather conditions or any other event outside the control of the company.

All personal property is on site at your own responsibility and Peak Glamping Hideaway accepts no liability for the loss or damage of any personal possessions.

Any items left behind must be claimed within two weeks of departure. If relevant postage and packaging charges for the return of goods will apply.

Repairs: Please let Peak Glamping Hideaway know if any repairs are required to your accommodation during your stay. Peak Glamping Hideaway reserve the right to enter your accommodation for service or repair purposes.

Candles and tea lights that are used in the yurts must be within the candle holders and containers and kept at a reasonable distance from the yurt wall and sloping roof. All candles and wood burning stoves must not be left lit unattended.

Please only use the designated campfire places and do not enlarge or alter the position of the designated campfire places. Do not leave your campfire unattended and think carefully about whether or not to light a fire if it is windy.

Peak Glamping Hideaway accepts no responsibility from any loss or injury arising from being on their grounds or in the accommodation. By booking the guest is confirming their acceptance to these terms and conditions, along with the risks, hazards, and dangers of personal injury in entering Peak Glamping Hideaway.

Fire safety instructions must be followed and he fireguard used at all times.

Please insure you have full travel insurance cover.

Safety

Peak Glamping Hideaway operates a strict NO SMOKING policy inside all the accommodation and facilities block.

Peak Glamping Hideaway accepts no responsibility for injury incurred on site. Parents are responsible for children’s safety and mustn’t leave them unattended at any times. Be sure children cannot leave the accommodation at night unsupervised at night, for example when leaving to use the bathroom facilities. Signs will be around the area to let you know where you are allowed to be, there is a steep bank near the site which Peak Glamping Hideaway advice you to stay away from. There is also a nearby farm, this is dangerous area which guests are not permitted to be. The site located in a rural environment, with uneven ground, steep slopes, trees and rivers. In addition, there are wood burning stoves, candles, lighters & matches, open fires and BBQs. The kitchen facility is equipped with sharp kitchen knives and cooking equipment. Please have fun, but also be aware of the risks and supervise and advise children accordingly.

Peak Glamping Hideaway and the owner accepts no liability for any accident, injury, loss or damage sustained by any resident, their family, visitors, animals, vehicles or personal effects however caused.

Miscellaneous

Smokers are not permitted with in the yurts, shepherds hut, holiday cottage, communal kitchen area or shower block. If you do smoke outside put the cigarette butt safely in a bin and don’t litter the site

No firearms, fireworks or Chinese lanterns are permitted in the accommodation or Peak Glamping Hideaway grounds.

Peak glamping Hideaway has a small car park adjacent to the shower block, this is free parking available to any of our guests, any vehicles parked here are left at there own risk. You must lock your vehicle securely and remove all valuable items on parking.

Peak Glamping Hideaway must be informed how many cars are coming on site from your booking. Peak Glamping Hideaway encourage car sharing where possible. Always drive slowly to and from the site, consider others guests and animals may be around. Please only park in this area, be considerate of your surroundings and wildlife and stay off the grass and fields. A wheelbarrow will be available for you to take your belongings to and from your vehicle

Peak glamping Hideaways operates a no pets policy. The glampsite is in a rural location and for the the welfare of the neighbouring animals, Peak Glamping Hideaway requests that no pets are allowed on the premises.

Any Glamping in Britain can be subject to variable weather conditions, which can change within short periods of time. Whilst Peak Glamping Hideaway supplies guests with certain equipment and facilities, Peak Glamping Hideaway also suggest that guests bring with them appropriate clothing and footwear, Peak Glamping Hideaway want guests to be as comfortable as possible during there stay but they are ultimately responsible for there own well-being. The grass is very often wet even in summer so please bring wellingtons with you.

Outdoor footwear must not be worn inside the yurts. For these reason Peak Glamping Hideaway ask that you bring slippers of easy to remove footwear such as wellies

Please remember the kitchens and washrooms are communal so Peak Glamping Hideaway request you clean up after use and try to accommodate others’ usage. Peak Glamping Hideaway will be cleaning up and emptying bins on a daily basis.

This is a peaceful quiet campsite for the enjoyment of nature. Noise travels a long way in the countryside so Peak Glamping Hideaway politely ask that you don’t use amplified music such as radios and stereos. Only quiet talking is permitted after 10:30pm.
